Service and inspection
The inspection of a vehicle is done after a predetermind which includes the following steps
We start by making sure that the vehicle has all the necessary documents such as insurance, a valid technical inspection (MOT – HU – AU) and vehicle registration documents (Rüsselsheim). Once the documents have been checked, our specialists begin the physical inspection of the vehicle. Any aesthetic or technical problems they find are reported in the vehicle inspection sheet. If the vehicle has only minor defects (stone chips, small scratches) that can be easily repaired / adjusted, our specialists ask for approval from our service manager to proceed with the repair. The number of kilometers is marked in the on-board computer and checks are made to determine whether the mileage is real or has been falsified. We continue by carefully checking the bodywork. To do this, we expose it to a bright light, in order to observe small imperfections in the body. Our mechanics closely follow the lines of the bodywork and the spaces between the parts to determine whether it meets the manufacturer’s standards. The hood, trunk and all doors are checked.

The engine cover is opened and the oil level and quality are checked. Then we move on to checking the other components of the engine. We check the power cables of the terminals and the conductors. The condition of the battery is checked by comparing the results with the parameters specified by the manufacturing company. The windshield and side windows are checked for scratches or cracks. The electric side windows are checked to ensure that they are working properly. The leather/velvet check is extremely important. It is checked for stains or scratches.

At this stage we check the technical parameters of the engine. We start the vehicle to check that the engine is running at normal temperature and that the noise or exhaust gases do not exceed the limits set by European regulations. The lights are checked. The headlights, taillights and fog lights are turned on and off sequentially. We check that the on-board computer does not contain errors. We check that the air conditioning (climate control) and heating are operational. We finish by checking the audio, entertainment and navigation systems.

The audio system is turned off during the test drive in order to hear any imperfections in the vehicle’s operation. Our specialists pay attention to the gearbox, which is checked by an approved tester. We monitor the accelerator and brakes to verify that they are operating within normal parameters. The suspension and shock absorbers are monitored and our technicians pay attention to any possible noise or vibration. At a speed of 60 km/h, we check the direction of the vehicle because it must be perfectly aligned with the road, without moving the steering wheel to one side or the other. Once the test drive is completed, a few minutes after stopping the vehicle, our inspectors check for any oil or other fluid leaks.

All observations recorded during the inspection are carefully analyzed by our specialists. If they consider that the vehicle is in excellent condition, they send the inspection sheet for approval to the service manager. After receiving the approval, we prepare the necessary documents for taking charge of the vehicle. We send all the observations recorded to the sales department in order to put the vehicle up for sale on our website.

Before selecting a vehicle from our partners’ available fleet, it undergoes a thorough inspection to determine the vehicle’s condition, aesthetics, mechanics and registration documents. This inspection is carried out by our service team and is supervised by our service manager who verifies that everything written in the inspection report is accurate and reflects reality. We ensure that the results presented in the vehicle description on our website are 100% accurate.
